One doesn’t really learn to appreciate the beauty of snow until they have lived for years in an area that gets 3-4 months of winter a year and then, moves to a place that doesn’t get any snow. I admit I get plenty of moments of missing the snow; the way it sparkles in the moonlight, the wet snows that stick to every single tree branch and bush, no matter how big or small.
This photo took me back to those days I lived in Michigan when it was easy to both love and hate waking up to a scene like this in the morning. I guess now I will be happy with loving it from afar. Mik is decorating with items from The Green Door, Spell, Dust Bunny, Nutmeg, Ionic, Hive and Chez Moi.
