Melly’s photo titled Hello Autumn shows the setting sun illuminating the earth tones that begin to appear as we transition from Summer to Fall. It’s a capture of a quiet outdoor space that might be found on a homestead passed down through a family for decades. Over many seasons, this space may become cluttered, but each object holds a meaningful reminder. Our four-legged friends have claimed the space and seem more than happy to share it with a cluster of baby birds. We can imagine that just out of view is a window, and beyond it, the humans have gathered for dinner after a day of harvesting their crops.
