Stepping into Augusta Godenot’s decorative universe is like entering a realm where the conventional is left behind. “Mirror Mirror” is an ode to the enigmatic, where every detail seems to invite a journey between the earthly and the magical. This space captures a dreamlike atmosphere, where the symbolic and the mystical intertwine in perfect harmony.
The room is bathed in dark tones, accentuated by gold and metallic details that bring a sophisticated yet mysterious air. The velvet-upholstered grey sofa serves as the focal point, evoking a sense of comfort that contrasts with the celestial motifs of the cushions adorning it. Stars and moons do more than just beautify the space; they transport the observer into a personal cosmos, where dreams and stories come to life.
The irregular mirrors adorning the walls are not mere accessories; they resemble portals to other worlds. With their distressed surfaces and almost magical arrangement, they create a sense of depth that expands the room both visually and symbolically. One of the most striking elements is the gargoyle perched on the wall, a symbol of protection and mystery, adding a distinctly gothic touch to the atmosphere.
