The roof is built with beautiful ornamentation, including a gable roof that overhangs, creating a front porch supported by weathered wooden columns. The front windows are tall and narrow, which allows for good ventilation and natural light. These windows have wooden frames that are painted in other more striking colors, in white, or simply in their natural color.
Opening the front door, you are immersed in a welcoming space steeped in history. The weathered wooden floors show the passage of time and add a rustic charm to every step you take. The central hallway leads you through the rooms, each with its own story to tell.
The living room would be at the front of the house, which was flooded with natural light filtering through the sash windows. You have a spacious living room which has its exposed brick fireplace, offering a quiet and serene retreat to your stay, followed by one room that can be used to make a small bedroom or kitchenette.
As you walk out the back door, you will have an immense backdrop where you can recreate precious memories with your loved ones, inviting you to relax and let yourself be carried away by the gentle rocking as you listen to the birdsong and the murmur of the nearby bayou.
