This seemingly simple scene features 3 dogs on the edge of a covered bridge, gazing distractedly in the direction of a bright red cardinal perched in a willow tree. A small river pushes lazily beneath them, reflecting the afternoon sun. Then we realize that the way Kylie has arranged the lighting, you can almost feel the warmth drifting into the shadows and hear the gentle lapping of water on wooden pilings. If we could make our way to this bridge, we’d sit beside the dogs and while away the hours breathing in the fresh country air. Thank you for the beautifully restful image, Kylie!
