There’s something reassuring about a space and the objects in it that have stood the test of time, like a comfort in the reliability of familiar materials and the stillness of long-ago placed objects. In Yeriak’s photo, there doesn’t need to be a specific arrangement of these objects because their presence is enough. It also speaks to an innate fascination many of us have with history and this room could easily be found in a 100-year-old country cottage or an even older English manor. It’s cool how a simple glimpse like this can spark our imagination, and we do love it when it happens!
