Once upon a time, this room was filled with grandeur. The intricate details on the fireplace, pillars, and window pediments are proof of that. It was a room where refined ladies met for afternoon tea and crumpets or boisterous gentlemen discussed world events over a sniffer of brandy and an aromatic tobacco pipe. But now, like the peeling paint, it’s glory days have faded and you can almost sense the ghosts of those that once lived here!
